Building a strong relationship with installers through digital

Backed by a team of experts who interact with nearly 20,000 installers each year, Thermor has built a strong and trusted relationship with the professionals who install its products. Wanting to preserve the value of its traditional communication channels while meeting the expectations and evolving habits of its installers -mobility, responsiveness, continuous skills development- Thermor set out to redesign both the look and the functionality of its B2B website. The goal was to further strengthen installer loyalty by making the Thermor Pro platform a full-fledged tool in every installer’s daily toolkit.

Attract, convert and retain installers

Following a story-mapping workshop held with the Thermor teams, several strategic components were identified to meet this objective: a homepage aligned with installer insights, a comprehensive yet easy-to-access media library, an expanded catalogue of services, an access to certified training programs, a support area built around a community, and a store locator designed to assist installers in their day-to-day work.

A user-centric methodology

From the very beginning, the platform's end users were at the heart of the project's design. Using reliable studies on the target profiles of the pro website and their digital habits across different devices, each component prioritized during the story-mapping phase was broken down into user stories, each describing a business need that delivers tangible value. Throughout the project, the Product Owner acted as the guardian of this user-focused approach.

Ibexa, the choice of a robust content management platform

To harmonize the technical architecture of both the BtoC and BtoB fundations, the decision was made to rebuild the website on the Ibexa platform. Its intuitive interface, ease of content editing, customizable templates through rich text, and robust user permission management made it the ideal CMS to meet the challenges of the pro-site redesign.
