The challengeStandardising and modernising the digital platform to improve business performance
Acquired in 2023 by the Kinougarde Group, Momji, a specialist in English-language childcare, needed to redesign its corporate website to align its tools and processes with those of Kinougarde. The old Drupal platform, which was costly and inflexible, was holding back the group’s digital ambitions. The redesign presented a major strategic opportunity: to make the services easier to understand, improve the user experience, ensure the reliability of the infrastructure and, above all, generate more leads to support the group’s growth.
What we appreciated most about Kaliop was the calibre of the people involved. From the very beginning, their methodology, adherence to deadlines and clear communication put us at ease. On the technical side, our teams saved time and were able to build their skills thanks to expert and informative guidance.

A modern, API-first architecture with Strapi
The project enabled Momji to leverage a Strapi headless CMS, offering a modern and scalable API-first architecture. This approach replaced the old Drupal monolith with a composable, flexible and high-performance solution, paving the way for better integration with existing systems and the future evolution of the digital platform.
A user-centred approach structured by agile methodology
Kaliop’s design team worked closely with Momji to design a clear and intuitive user experience. User flows were simplified and mock-ups were tested and validated to ensure their relevance. At the same time, the teams were supported in establishing an agile organisation, with dedicated training for the steering team to foster adoption of agile practices. This dual approach, focused on the user experience and the structuring of project management, enabled the platform to be delivered in just a few months and secured a high-performing MVP, all while staying well within budget constraints.
Comprehensive support and team skill development
Beyond development, Kaliop trained the Momji teams in Strapi and supported the implementation of a DevOps culture on AWS. The addition of a Momji developer to the project further strengthened the teams’ React skills. Today, the teams are self-sufficient in maintaining and evolving the platform, while building on a solid and sustainable technical foundation.
