The challengeAn ambitious technological overhaul to improve UX and conversion

Yelloh! Village, a leader in outdoor hospitality, launched an ambitious replatforming to accelerate its digital growth. By moving away from a rigid monolith to a composable architecture, the objective was clear: to provide a smoother user experience, strengthen technical and SEO performance and boost online bookings in order to remain a leader in a highly competitive market.

Yelloh! Village modernised its platforms with Kaliop to deliver a seamless digital experience before, during and after the stay and to support an e-commerce business representing over 70% of its revenue.

Industrialising deployment through an API-first, GraphQL and Kubernetes architecture for sustainable performance

The objective of the technical overhaul was to implement an API-first, microservices-oriented architecture in order to reduce technical debt and facilitate site customisation. This technological redesign aimed to enable better content management, enhanced SEO optimisation and the highlighting of the unique offerings of each campsite.

Initiated in 2017, the project began by de-risking the replatforming and laying the technical foundations of the future platform: redesigning the websites of each campsite with Strapi and Vue.js, Back-for-Front architecture via GraphQL, design system and deployment on Kubernetes. This meticulous digital work was validated through agile workshops, POCs, audits and strong involvement from business teams.

Thanks to this composable architecture and the headless CMS Strapi, Yelloh! Village now has a true site factory capable of hosting over 100 campsites. The containerised infrastructure on Kubernetes enables automated and rapid deployments, ensuring scalability, performance, continuous innovation and optimised management of all content for a modern, sustainable and evolving platform.
